Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with True Backdrops!

We work hard to process and ship your orders as quickly as possible. Below you’ll find all the details regarding our shipping procedures:

Order Processing

  • Custom printed backdrops typically ship within 3-5 business days after your artwork is approved.

  • In-stock items ship within 1-3 business days.

  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

  • Production time is in addition to shipping time.

Shipping Carriers

  • We primarily ship using Purolator, UPS, FedEx, or Canada Post, depending on your location and the size of your order.

  • All shipments include tracking. You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Delivery Times

  • Delivery times depend on the shipping method selected and your location.

  • Typical delivery within Canada is 1-5 business days after the order ships.

  • We are not responsible for carrier delays once the package leaves our facility.

Shipping Rates

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your order and your location.

  • Free local pickup is available in Ottawa, ON by appointment.

International Shipping

  • At this time, we primarily ship within Canada. Please contact us directly if you require international shipping options.

Address Accuracy

  • Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

  • True Backdrops is not responsible for shipping delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • Once an order has been marked as Delivered by the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer.

    If your package is missing after a delivery scan, please:

    Check with neighbours and household members

    Look around doors, porches, and alternate entrances

    Contact the carrier with your tracking number


    We’re happy to help you open a claim with the carrier, but we are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery.

Damaged Shipments

  • If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Include photos of the damaged product and packaging, and we will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
